Everyone has a Story

Stories of a Stranger is a project that started between us and our fellow photographers; we went around local towns, cities, and communities taking candid photos of your local everyday people. We went up to total strangers and asked them directly for their consent to photograph them like an exchange between us the photographer and this new stranger.

We started this project because we felt like there’s such a disconnect between everyone in all and any community. With all the bad news we hear on the media it is sure to get anyone startled, doubt our neighbors, and plant a negative mindset about each other. We don’t want anyone to endanger themselves trying to repeat this project unprofessionally and add to the bad news but what we wanted is to show that there’s still good in the everyday person, that there’s still room for acceptance because before someone becomes a Friend they were a Stranger.

We hope from this project will bridge the gap between the heart of strangers, allowing us to listen to each other because everyone has a story to tell.
